Insulating Glass Unit (IGU), also known as double glazing units, offers excellent performance in reducing heat gain or loss. It consists of two or more pieces of glass separated by a hollow aluminum spacer filled with desiccant. The cavity is filled with dry air or inert gas and hermetically sealed with butyl glue, sulfur glue, or structural sealant.
