PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Laminated Glass is a Grade A safety glass, manufactured by adhering two or more pieces of glass together with a flexible interlayer (generally PVB or CIP). Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is the main benefit of laminated glass? The primary benefit is safety. Unlike regular glass, it stays in its frame when broken, reducing the risk of injury from sharp fragments.
Q2: Can laminated glass reduce outside noise? Yes, the PVB interlayer acts as a sound dampener, making it ideal for buildings near high-traffic areas like airports and highways.
Q3: Does it provide protection against UV rays? Absolutely. Laminated glass interlayers can filter out nearly 99% of ultraviolet rays, preventing furniture and interiors from fading.
Q4: What are common thicknesses for architectural use? Common thicknesses include 6.38mm, 8.38mm, 10.38mm, and 12.38mm, depending on the required security and application.
Q5: Is laminated glass customizable in color? Yes, we offer various glass colors (Clear, Blue, Grey, Bronze) and colored PVB interlayers to meet aesthetic requirements.
Q6: Is this glass suitable for overhead glazing? Yes, due to its non-scatter property when broken, it is the standard choice for skylights and overhead glazing.
