Smart glass, also named as Privacy Glass or Switchable Transparent Glass (STG), is an intelligent high function glass, or PDLC film smart glass, which has a special characteristic of changing between clear and opaque by voltage control.
There are two types of smart glass film when used for glass, acrylic and other materials: one is laminated type smart film and the other is self-adhesive smart film. These two types of smart film share the same working principle and parameter specifications. The main difference lies in the application methods.
Based on the instant transparency conversion, it meets both perspective requirements and privacy protection needs. The liquid crystal layer in the middle of the smart film effectively absorbs ultraviolet rays and reflects infrared rays, keeping interiors warm in winter and cool in summer, achieving environmental protection and energy saving.
